Eirik Vågeskar is one of two main authors behind Cappelen Damm’s «Kode», a new textbook for Norwegian high schools which teaches programming through Svelte.

He has worked as a frontend programmer at Knowit Objectnet, where he is the head of frontend development. He graduated from NTNU in 2017 with a master’s degree in computer technology, specializing in artificial intelligence. He has spent most of his career stationed at Entur, creating the future of Norway’s public transport system.
